Providence Christian educates students to be extraordinary thinkers and Christ-honoring decision makers. God has provided for the school through the generosity, stewardship, and volunteering spirit of many. We are grateful to you, our loyal supporters, for recognizing the value of Christian education in the lives of our children.
Providence Christian an independent, Christian school that is not subsidized by any church, charity, or religious organization. Furthermore, to maintain autonomy, we also do not receive funding from the government.
We rely on God’s provision through tax-deductible, charitable contributions over and above tuition to fund and enhance our programs and facilities. Providence Christian School is under the San Joaquin Valley School Association’s 501(c)(3) and is a nonprofit organization. Our Tax Identification Number is #77-0525158, and we will provide you documentation for all charitable gifts.
One of the motivations for giving is the joy that giving brings the giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7 states, “God loves a cheerful giver.” We desire that you give with joy. Each gift we receive, regardless of size, allows the school to extend its impact to educate and influence the lives of hundreds of children and their families. Your gift of your time, talent, or treasure is critical, and we thank you for your part in God’s provision. May God bless you for your sacrifice. Luke 6:38 promises, “Give, and it will be given to you.” We pray that you have been given joy!
Here are a few ways that you can make a difference at Providence Christian:
• Annual Fund
• Planned Giving Opportunities
Thank you in advance for your support. Please contact a member of our development team at for more information on supporting our school.
Providence Christian is building a permanent, state of the art education complex just outside of Merced off of Santa Fe Avenue. These improved facilities will allow us to increase our capabilities, add much needed classroom space, and give our children access to the most current educational technology. But we also firmly believe the new campus will benefit the greater Merced community with additional jobs and rentable space such as gymnasiums, ball fields, and event center. This new campus will be a valued addition to the community.
We are grateful to all of those who have pledged and made donations toward our building project. As of November, 2015, we have raised over $9.5 Million for the project, and have met our initial goal for the start of construction. We still need to raise over $4 Million in order to complete the first phase of this project. If you would like to support the expansion project, you can do so by completing a pledge card, mailing or dropping off a check, or getting in touch with one of our staff members. You can give with a generous one-time gift, or a weekly, monthly, or annual pledge over 3 years. As many companies match employee donations, be sure to ask if your employer offers a match program in order to maximize your pledge.
Thank you for your gift to Providence Christian School. Each year, our school relies on the private support of parents, grandparents, alumni, employees and friends to provide funding for the school. We sincerely appreciate your generous donation. Your contribution is an integral part in helping fulfill our mission of preparing our students to impact the culture for Christ.
